A repeat of 2008′s successful event:
On Saturday the 26th Sept at Our Lady of the Waves hall and garden the second Dunbar Apple Day will take place. Events kick of at 1.30pm and will run to around 5pm. We have Apple John coming along to help identify apples growing in and around Dunbar, he will also give an apple tree grafting demo. Apple John gives a talk about apples and their growing at 3pm. There will be an apple press, so bring your apples along and a container to collect the tasty juice. We will have apple themed games for all ages,apple stories and poerty, apple tombolla,an apple tree collecting leaves of your thoughts,apple type refreshments and stalls with local home produced fare.
