Do you also want people who currently work an allotment at Elm Street? Although I can’t see some of the older allotment holders taking an interest, it would be good if everyone connected with allotments joined together.
I have been gardening at Elm street for 2 years and would very much like to see a water supply installed at the site.

The meeting last night was really well attended and about ten people volunteered to be on a steering group to go ahead with the formation of an allotments association. It would be great to have a representative of existing allotment holders on this group.

Where does one apply to join the waiting list?

At the moment, to join the waiting list you will need to contact Stuart Pryde at East Lothian Council: Email Hidden
Once the allotments association is up and running then I assume that they will be the point of contact.
