Cycling
Dunbar is mainly flat and is easy to cycle round. There is bike parking on the High Street and at the Library on Delisle Street. The High Street can be busy at times.
Trains
Trains run to and from Edinburgh approximately every hour during the day. Visit National Rail Enquires or call 08457 48 49 50 for timetables.
The walk from the station takes about 5 minutes. From the platform walk up Station Road and turn left at the top. Cross Countess Road onto Abbey Road and follow it past Cherrytrees Children’s Nursery to the High Street. Walk along the High Street to the round-about and turn left onto West Port. The Sustaining Dunbar/BeGreen office is on the left-hand-side about 200m along. If the downstairs shop is closed, please ring the bell.
Buses
From Edinburgh and East First Bus 44D/X44/X45 stops outside Dunbar library (Delisle Street) only a minute’s walk away.
From Berwick-upon-Tweed and the South, the Perryman’s 253 service stops on Dunbar High Street, just round the corner from our office (2 minute’s walk)
From East Linton and North Berwick Eve’s Coaches 120 service also stops on Dunbar High Street
Driving
Parking is available at Dunbar Leisure Pool car park, a 5 minute walk away, or short stay parking at the Co-op supermarket round the corner (access via Countess Crescent/Friarscroft).
