The Industry Taskforce on Peak Oil and Energy Security, which comprises such companies as Virgin, Stagecoach, Scottish and Southern and Arup, has just published its latest report, ‘The Oil Crunch’, warning of shortages  and price spikes by 2015. In Transition -The Movie

Wednesday 20th January, 7.30pm, Gibb Room, Dunbar Library  -Free, all welcome.
Compiled from footage sent in by over 100 Transition Initatives from around the world, this film shows how a diverse movement of communities are responding creatively and pro-actively to peak oil and climate change, seeing them as an historic opportunity to build the world anew.
