Who?
My name is Tim Greene, I am a retired statistician who moved to Dunbar in 2017.
When?
I have been a member of SD for 6 years, and a board member for 4 years, and am currently treasurer of SD.
Why?
I want to be able to express my concern for the environment by local involvement and action, and being a part of SD seems a natural way to do this. I want to see changes locally (and globally) that enable people to live in harmony with the natural environment and one another.
What?
I hope SD can enable a wide variety and increasing number of residents find ways to improve the natural world and society in Dunbar. I want to see SD bring together people who want to work for positive change, and provide support to them to change things for the better. I also hope that where systems and institutions can achieve change that groups of individuals cannot, then by acting together we can bring positive pressure for change on key decision makers.
