Tuesday 6th May, 8-9.30pm in the ‘Back of the Mack’
Last month we shared some information about Coastal Connections – our programme of community-wide engagement to tap in to local groups, activities and knowledge about our coastal environments. The project aims to harness and develop deeper connection with out seas, increase awareness of the pressures they face and facilitate positive behavioural change and build resilience through community connections.
We are now starting to plan our programme of activities and will hold our first conversation on Tuesday 6th May 8-9.30pm in the ‘Back of the Mack’ room at the back of the Mackintosh Hotel. The Conversations will bring together people with knowledge, involvement and experience of some aspect of life on our shores and they will offer opportunities for us to explore and broaden our knowledge of marine environments.
Come and join the Harbourmaster, Countryside Ranger and the Kittiwake Warden for an informal but informative session. You don’t have to be an expert – just curious about our world.
Our next announcement will be to give information about the creative workshops through which we will develop the August/September exhibition for the John Muir Birthplace.
