Wild River Walk One -Brox Burn Lower Reaches
Sunday 25th January 10am-1pm
An exploratory walk with Renatus Derbridge
The first of three ‘Wild River Walks’ (every last Sunday of Jan, Feb and Mar) exploring the Brox Burn (which becomes the Spott Burn upstream) from the river’s point of view. We will stay as close as possible to the water and let the river be our teacher. Where we meet puzzles we will pause, share observations and ask what this shows about access, land-use, history, wildlife and possible futures -and about our relationship to this place.
It will be an exploratory, playful co-discovery (not a formal guided tour)!
FREE. All welcome.
Please book a place as numbers are limited.
It’s not a challenging walk but is on uneven ground. Wellies required! Please bring appropriate clothing and water/snacks.
